Difficult to Repair Examples
Some Broken Dentures can't be fixed through the mail.
If your denture is missing large pieces, the dentist just won't guess and fill in the void. The dentist is working on a denture, not a mantle piece. The denture has to fit back in your mouth correctly. Guessing where or how a piece should go just is not good dental practice.
Some Denture Repairs may need adjusting.
Rule of thumb: If you can put the pieces back together like a puzzle, and there are no holes or voids in the break your denture repair should fit fine when you get it back. However, dentures that do not fit exactly back together can be repaired, but may need additional adjustments by your local dentist.
Local Dentist Adjustments :
If the repaired area is of denture acrylic and it feels uncomfortable, taking it to a local dentist for adjustment is your best solution. What the dentist may do is apply a marking paste onto your denture, and when the dentist removes your denture from your mouth they will be able to remove excess acrylic that may be making your repair uncomfortable.
For example, if your broken pieces fit together, but you notice there is a small fragment missing along a break, the dentist will do their best to blend the area with the height of the other areas nearby to the break. With the examples above, the dentist will not guess on how your denture should fit back together. This is because if the guess is wrong, your repair won't fit. Our belief is to deliver working dentures.

This means you will have to involve a local dentist, as we will require an impression from a dentist. The repairs may cost a little more because the dentists pay close attention to detail.
