Try to avoid glue by any means
While some folks have attested to using glue as a denture repair remedy, but different glues can harm your dentures. Some tend to heat up causing the denture repair area to melt. The melting action will cause your denture to warp, making it a mantle piece forever. Other glues turn a disgusting yello that is easily seen by others. Got yellow glue on your dentures, smile, let everyone see that gunk on your smile.

While some glues may work, almost all are poisonous :

Overtime if the glue repair worked, you will eventually eat all the glue on your denture. This is because the glue flaked off into the food you were eating. Some glues can cause tumors and other ill effects. Use glue, and risk shortening your life.
If you used glue, don't do it again.
Most of the time the dentist is able to remove the glue you used to repair your dentures. But sometimes, the glue may embed itself into the denture acrylic making a successful repair impossible. Please check glue removal if you used glue on your denture.
To make a solid bond between the new denture repair material and the broken denture, there must not be any glue on your denture. If you are not sure if you ever used glue, the dentist will find the glue on your denture. Having the dentist find old glue on your denture is good, because it tells you the dentists are doing their job, and that is to give you the best quality when it comes to a reliable denture repair. Removing hardened and dried glue on denture acrylic is most of the time tedious work. This is not an easy task, as some may think there is a solution the dentures can be wiped with and the glue just wipes away. In reality, the glue is ground, scraped, or picked off with dental tools. After the area has been completely cleaned of glue, the actual denture repair then can take place.
